Ceredigion Coastal Path is being developed to enable walkers access to one of Europe’s most magnificent coastlines. From Ynyslas north of Aberystwyth the route will sweep around Cardigan Bay to join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at Poppit Sands south of Cardigan.

Much of the path is close to the shoreline giving access to sandy beaches, wild cliff tops and rambling lanes. The route takes in new and much loved existing routes to give over 100kms of walking which can be split into short and long, easy or challenging, linear and circular walks suitable for all.

Cardigan Bay is home to bottlenose dolphins, porpoises, Atlantic grey seals and a wide variety of birds, flora and fauna. See the red kite, choughs, peregrine falcons, gannets, puffins. Spot unusual butterflys and rare orchids. Enjoy the cleanest air and magnificent views over Cardigan Bay.
