Roger & Carol Burgess welcome you to the peaceful and tranquil valley of Cwmtydu on the picturesque Ceredigion Cardigan Bay Heritage Coast

Welcome to Park Hall

Park Hall is a large country house by the sea in a relaxing setting with extensive grounds

Park Hall is a large country house by the sea in a relaxing setting with extensive grounds and easy reach of many activities including walking, fishing, pony trekking and golf, not to mention some lovely sandy beaches.

The House

This large self-catering property is fully centrally heated and has eight bedrooms (seven of which have en-suite facilities) and can accommodate up to twenty people. There are two lounges, the main lounge has a TV with satellite link along with a video. There is an extensive video library for your use should you wish to have a relaxing evening. The smaller lounge contains a piano and a CD player. The kitchen has a liquid gas powered range, two larder fridges, an upright freezer, dishwasher and microwave, along with all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery you would need.

Conservatory

The newly refurbished conservatory is also the dining room. It stretches the length of the house and has seating for up to twenty people. Of course the main attraction to this room is the superb view across the lawn and down the valley to the lovely sea and cove below.

Welsh Wedding Venue

View from the house As Park Hall is licensed for civil weddings, what better place than the conservatory to conduct the ceremony which is ideally situated to make the most of the position of the house. The lawn and garden is easily accessed through the French door to take those memorable photographs. For the larger occasion there is plenty of room to site a marquee on the main lawn. With eight bedrooms, including a four poster bed, Park Hall ensures comfort and privacy in beautiful surroundings for your wedding ceremony and wedding guests.

Around the Area

There is plenty to occupy the visitor, whatever tastes they may have. There are a number of different walks to suit all abilities from a quiet stroll to the more energetic walks along the rugged cliff tops. A pony trekking centre is situated close by where you can hire a horse as part of an accompanied trek, or you can make your own way round. Cycling along the small quiet lanes is a delight and the sea is inviting from June until late September - though many surfers are happy to enjoy the sea at most times of the year.

How to Find Park Hall

From the A487 West Wales coast road take the turning for Llwyndafydd. As you approach Llwyndafydd you will see signs for Cwmtydu which is the name of the wooded valley and cove which you approach. Turn down to Cwmtydu and Park Hall is the last large house on the left hand side before the sea.
