Home of the famous Dyfed Shire Horses, enjoy a fascinating family day out, with lots of indoor and outdoor activities.

Meet some real Welsh Farming characters at this working Shire Horse Farm.
 

Enid is the 6th generation of the Lewis family at the farm and for those interested in the history of farming an 80 page booklet is available for purchase from the Farm Gift Shop.

  
   


At 11.30 see the famous Dyfed Shires being dressed whilst Enid gives you a fascinating insight into these wonderful animals.

At 1.30 witness the horses in splendid harness-a spectacle you normally only see on the most special occasions.

 Jim Reynolds , the current Welsh Champion horse ploughman is on hand to give ploughing and harrowing demonstrations. He may even let you handle a team of horses. We will also give you a Tractor-Trailer tour of the farm complete with a fascinating commentary on the workings and the history of the farm.
